If an engine cover costs $360 I guess it will cost quite a bit. Oh well, when I saw the post I took that picture of off of I thought they were pretty cool, practical, efficiant, etc. I was kind of dissapointed I didn't see it when I put the HKS on.

wouldn't all those panels also make it slightly heavier? The whole point of those panels are to improve aerodynamics and i guess therefore improve fuel economy and to a degree wind noise (wind noise isn't that bad - if you're annoyed go buy an ES). But since it's heavier doesn't it just cancel out that effect, and possibly even make fuel economy worse? So then the only improvement would just be wind noise i guess - at least a little...

Okay I was going to let this thread die but the "random people want to race me" and some of the posts in this thread made me think...100lbs=10hp and wind resitance increases at the rate of speed/cubed ,I wonder what the drag resitance vs weight increase /decrease would be? I don't see all of the panels weighing more than the decrease in drag. Can't find out but was just wondering and I still not going to buy them...On the other hand I wonder what the Carson discount price would be? Hmmmm...
