I am looking at getting 20s for my lex ... but I am worried about the tires profile. I will have to go with 35 or maybe even 30's... I had 40's on my civic and know I had to be care full of pot holes and what ever but how bad are the 30 or 35.. and does the ride get allot rougher with the low pro's?

I have 20's 35 front 30 rear, honestly I havent noticed much of a difference in the ride although I avoid potholes like the plague...If the road is bumpy you will feel it. As far as size, well that is a matter of opinion as you will read, personally I like the 20's, but 19's look just as good and if you are thinking of lowering your car - 19's would probably do you better (IMO).

i'm running 235/30/20 in front with no issues. i've ran over some pretty nice pot holes too and my iforged have held up quite nicely. you lose a bit of ride quality but the look of my 20s is worth the trade off, imo.

just make sure you get a minimum of 235/30/20's
--the idiot that owned my car first put 225/30/20's and they are so small they look like a rubber band on a tennis ball. i am going to wear them out, then get 245/30/20's for the front and 255/30/20 for the rear.

I'm running 20s with 235/30/20 and 275/30/20 with no rubbing whatsoever.
The ride is great. The only time the ride is bad is when you hit a bump in the road, and I just avoid them anyway.
As far as too big: Often times I look at my car and think 20s are too small.
