As mentioned many times already, it depends on the dealer you go to. Sometimes it's just a matter of asking or calling ahead. I've taken my car into the dealer at least 5x already and I've gotten a loaner every single time. Even if it would take an hour or 2. I just tell them I've gotta go to work and I get a loaner.

Btw, for those in So Cal, Glendale Lexus will be getting a few '07 LS' in as loaner cars and they've told me that all you have to do is reserve it in advance and the LS is yours for the day.

Hell I don't even go to the dealer.... I call them, tell them to send someone out to my work place and pick up my car, when they're done someone drives it back to my work place and hands me the keys....
I'm not in LOVE with my car and change cars pretty frequently, so I really don't give a crap who drives it...
