I have the OEM HIDs, too. The bulb type is D4S. Thinking about switching mines out to 6000k.

This was more than likely caused by the fact that the stock harness is actually reversed. On the connector the + really is the negative, and vice versa. I'm sure the XD kit accounts for this with the wiring harness.

Ive heard that you can switch out the pins and you can opt now to use the wire to the battery, but Im going to use that wire just like BlitzIS350. Im sure they made it like that for a reason.

Default Nice Work!

First off, great choice on the color of the lights and the ride! I was contemplating that exact same setup since my IS is white as well.

Quick question for you: It's hard to tell from the pics, but do you have your parking lights on? I'm thinking about just running the headlights and no wimpy yellowish parking lights.

PS: Love the fogs!!

nope, ive had my drl/parking lights turned off. in the pic, however, ive got the piaa led wedge bulb in there. its probably hard to tell, but ill try to get some better pictures tonight along with a shot from 100+ yards. i did check the oem wiring harness and it appears that the negative and positive wires arent switched. i didnt check for polarity, but by looking at the wiring setup, the color of the wire coincide with the pin location. hope that helps!

My friend has a 04 350z and for his little parking like blubs he bought Piaa Plasma Ion Yellow blubs which really contrasts well with his 6k HID blubs. Just a thought I saw that you did already change them out for blue LEDs but the yellow blubs are really crisp and as i've already said contrasts well specailly now that you have yellow fogs

Blitz...I'm probably going to buy my HID kit very soon. Is the "intense" purple really as intense as it seems? As with most pictures....they don't do much justice so I just wanted a personal opinion if 6500k would be an overkill(from the pictures, they look great), and why you didn't go with the 5000k

ive had 6000k previously in my 1st Gen IS. I loved the color...so i stuck with the same color range. you cant really tell the purple in it....its really hard to explain, but all i can say is that it is perfect.
