Does it hit your leg when you turn?

I'm not even sure what you mean.

Cruise control has never hindered my ability to turn my car.

Never had a problem.

Then again, when I turn, my hands start at 3 or 9, then turn about 180 degrees...

No, no problem. My elderly MR2 has the same type control and no problem there either.

This is the same cruise that was in my 1992 Celica GT. It was perfect back then, and it is still perfect today. No changes since. This is the best factory cruise available.

You should adjust your seat....maybe the front is tilted too high?

or you need to re-adjust your steering wheel's position......
