Try slowing down for 1-2 seconds.. and see if the problem persist.
LOL >> ^^^ what he said!!!

Please, would you be able to hold on for 1-2 seconds, before slamming into "R"

^^ yeah that

ur suppose to wait roughly 30 sec for the oil to properly circulate the engine... if u apply load to ur engine right away without sufficient lubrication, premature wear will result...

i leave my house 5:30 in the morning, with car park inside the garage, have not happen anything like that before. what did happened once was when i stop by for gas a year ago, trying to start my car and car won't ignite. i turn the power off, waited for couple second, and it went fine again. it only happened once so think it's no biggy.

That has happened to me before, probably 3-4 times. Twice on consecutive mornings at 3am (probably 50deg) and a couple other times on other occasions. It's not very replicable so i can't show the dealer. Haven't had it happen in like 4 months now though... knock on wood

So it happened to me again 4 times this morning... good game eh? Could this be linked to the MTEC HID's that I have installed? I left my lights on last night instead of turning them off like normal and it happened this morning. I'll try it again tonight to see what happens

did u set your lights to "auto" ? I believe it has to do with the electrical stuff?

Shouldn't it chime if you leave it in anything but the "Auto" mode?

I think it might have something to do with the current draw for the lights and starter?

It happened to me once (but not exactly the same situation as you are)
I tried to roll the driver window down while starting the car (press start then windows down), the car started but it shaked a little.

Then I turned off the engine and restart, and was back to normal....

A few times, i was too quick taking my foot off the brake when i started it and it craped out. Had to learn to hold my foot there for an extra second or so.

seems like it's not a stall. my car did this to me three time already. one at my dealership right after they did the oil change. when you start the car you have to hold the brake and the puch button for more than 1.5 second because if you let go too soon the computer will shut the car off. Maybe it's a safety mechanism for the security system? I've learn to hold the button and brake untill my car start and needle at 1500 RPM which is about 1.5 second.

I have OEM HID Lowbeams and Matsus_hita HID Foglamps. Leave them on AUTO for almost 12K now, no problems.
