Downtown LA photoshoot IS350 vs TL

Funny - I never even looked at Lexus until they started offering front wheel drive. I prefer the feel of front wheel drive and the handling when I am in the snow, rain, sleet, wet leaves... When I feel like hanging out in a parkinglot and doing doughnuts - rear wheel drive all the way.

I guess I don't think of it as a sports car - not saying it isn't, I just think of it as a snazzy sedan. Just a matter of opinion - I'm sure most here would agree with you, I just don't really think of it as a sports car.
I think of the lamborghini, the ferrari, even the s2000 type cars as sports models. The IS has too much functionality and practicality for everyday use for me to compare it to those other types of sports cars.
Maybe if it came with a silly air foil, some exhaust pipes lining the sides, a non fucntional back seat, and a nifty flame emblem I'd consider it a sports car.
I currently have a TL (which I don't consider a sports model - even the TL-S) but am considering the Lexus for my next car.
