a little over 10K miles on 2007 IS250. Purchased in 10/2006. Car every once in a while misfires when I'm idle at a redlight. The car sort of just "trembles" for a second or two sounding like it's going to die. I will be taking the car into the dealer for a checkup soon.

6500 miles......nine months.........0 problems.....no rattles, speakers sound great and the leather looks like new.. Auto shifts like a dream...getting up to 34 MPG on the road.
Tires hardly show any wear....
What's not to love?

1250 miles and the car RATTLES EVERYWHERE, 4 doors, frong panel, buckle sliders that go up/down.... back panel.... I so love the way car drives, but i am so dissapointed with lexus. My toyota solara 04 had 1 rattle with back panel in 3 years, this rattles everywhere. Any tips? I'll be taking it for 5k service and hopefully they'll get it fixed. The only issue is the SOMETIMES like 3 times now in 2 weeks the something in the Gauges panel RATTLES so loud and bad and then its gone. So how do i tell them what the problem is when it only happens once in a while and i can't really reproduce it, it just happens randomly. It sounds like a wire is bouncing against metal. Anyway thats my story...

I have not encounter any problems at the Dealer yet. The only problem was the tranny on a ES350. It only had 586 miles on it!!! I had to go throw the whole TSB flow chart. I ordered the new tranny. Taking the tranny out and putting the new one in was not a problem. Since the ES350 only had 586 miles on it, so the ES350 was clean to work on. The problem came when I forgot to write down the tranny's Identification Number. It's feaking like 25 numbers. So them I could not initialize the tranny. That ment that now I had to take the tranny down one more time just to get that stupid I.D. Number. Once I got the number I had to program it on the ECM and take the car for a test drive. I lost like 8 hours on that stupid job. But look at the bright side. Now I know to write down the I.D. Number down. That was about September of 2006. Ever since then I only have done 2 ES350's that needed a new tranny.

Only thing I've ever had problems with is number 1. I'd say once out of maybe 30 or 40 times that I go to my car, it doesn't immediately unlock when I put my fingers behind the handle. Usually works properly on the second try in that case if I let go and touch it again.
