IS problems?
Hey CL fam~
Looking to get back into an IS (350) in September. Just wondering if anyone has had problems with the following:
1) SmartAccess (locks not unlocking when the door handle is touched)
2) Push button ignition (engine not starting)
3) Tranny (having an RX330, I'm all to familiar with tranny issues; I've also read some horror stories in about the ES350)
3) A/C (my IS300 had the a/c replaced twice, not once in the RX)
I did a search in the forum which didn't turn out anything, so I'm hoping that's the case!

the car didn't sense the key and couldn't lock no matter i pressed lock from the key fob or using the touch button on the handle
was told it was because it was demagnatized by the cell phone.
locked after an hour or so

My smart key entry system goes crazy once in a while. The other day the car just refused to lock and start no matter what i did! I had to leave the car unlocked for an hour! Battery is fine, but i keep getting this "key not detected" warnings sometimes. Freaks me out!

So far 9800 miles in 4 months. Only small problems which will be addressed at my 10k service.
1. Trunk liner on top is hanging.
2. Passenger seat noise which is covered in a TSB.
