OK, fellow CL members, I need your professional rec.

I'm trying to match my OEM HID low beam.

Can you guys confirm the sizes and make some recommendations?

High beam size is 9005
Fog Light size is 9006

I just want to get regular bulbs, not HIDs. For the fog too, I don't like yellow. I wanna match all lights.

Can you guys recommend some bulbs that will match my low beam?

I was thinking about PIAA bulbs. But there are SO MANY bubls I don't know what to pick...

Any other brand is fine. Please HELP me. Anyone with the pictures?

Those bulb numbers are correct, and I tried to do the same thing. Heres what i got, and who I bought them from:
9005 high beams
9006 fog lights
194 city lights
Bear in mind that the high beams are in the same housing as the city lights. You WILL want to change out the city lights. Do them both at the same time. It will be the hardest headlight bulb change you have ever done. The fogs are easy, just go through the wheel wells.

High beams and city lights are in the same spot. Youll see when you take those covers off and have a look. Check out this thread and see my last few posts. That will help a lot if you can get one of those tools. Where in CA are you?

so i need those little finger screwdrivers, huh?
if i wanted to change just parking lights, do i still need them?
is it the high beam that takes long time? or the parking lights?

They are in the same spot. The little finger screw driver is the only thing I could find that I could (barely) hold in my hand to unscrew a bar clamp thing that hold a cover on which covers the back of the housing that holds the city lights AND the high beams. Thats why I said do them both at the same time because the are in the same place.

Just a little note, you do not need to remove the bar clamps that hold the covers. Just push or pull the bar in the opposite direction

Really??? I tried and couldnt get the thing to move. Maybe I just didnt pull hard enough. I just undid the top screw a bit and pulled the clamp up then moved it over.

Yup, at first when I changed my highs that sucker was a pain. Then I just used a flathead to pry it. After that it was easy to open cuz it was a little looser.

Any recommendation for 9005 & 9006 piaa lights?

ben, how's luminics? I think they are okay but I'm not sure how long it's gonna last...

How long did you had those for?

Well First off they do come with a one year warranty. Second I had them in my accord as high and low beams and they lasted me for years. Plus on ebay I get them for like 27 bucks shipped brand new sealed in the retail plastic casing. Even if they did die out on me in a year or two its still cheaper than wasting money on high priced bulbs that really look the same and serve the same function.... Just like all those people on here who spent 20 bucks for a pair of 194 white led city lights from v-leds or whoever. I go the same look, thing, and quality for about 5 bucks. And just in case, worst case scenario and they do burn out, i still have three more sets to purchase before I rack up the cost they paid. But I know that they have never caused me problems in the past and they more than likely will not now. Lastly, If I remember correctly all the PIAAs I looked at were 4000K or 4700K for their whites. The Luminics are 5150K or 6000K (I went with the 5150K) which I think is a closer match to the HIDs...

do you know the max wattage (draw) on both high beam and fog lights?
it seems like u are using 65 watt for high beam and 55 watt for fog beam.
what happens if i go with lower watts? or higher watts?

No problem man, Ill try and post a pic of what my setup looks like when I get home. Its hard to get my old crappy sony camera to get the colors right, they always come out looking bluer than they do in real life, but Ill try.

Huh... thats a good question and one that i dont really know the answer to... I imagine it would just be a dimmer light output. Anyone else know???

Also let me add this since you brought up wattage, because in no where that I read anyone said this: the fog light housing get VERY hot with both the stock and luminics bulbs. At first I thought I was just due to the new brighter bulbs, but then I felt the OEM and its normal. Plus they get cooled a lot from driving. When it was sitting in my garage it had no air passing over it and got way hot.
