Yeah, that is why I had mine removed, so I can put them in the new rims. The tpms are like 100 bucks each. Forget that, that's too much $$$.

yes, you resuse your tpms whole piece.

hehe i got cheesy looking black stems on my stock tires right now

Or, is the valve separable from the TPMS part?
the sell a new seal and washer and lock nut kit to replace when you swap tires every couple years. the Lexus seal/washer set is like $4-5 each wheel but acura has the same ones they use in the new RDX, MDX, and TSX that are exactly the same for 1/4 of the price.

are the extra sensors or his old ones put into new wheels? you might have to put them up to 50PSI and then put it back down to whatever setting you want to initialized them...thats what the Lexus Tech told me.

might also have to initialize the pressure you want on the side button on the dash.

Alright, maybe you guys can answer my question because i keep getting the "it can't be done" BS.

I own a 1st gen is300, and have put is350 rims on my car. the previous owner would like the TPMS sensors back if possible to put in his aftermarket works. if i can find a ghetto shop who will take these out, can i replace them with non TPMS valve stems? I'm not sure how they would fit being that the TPMS valve stems look considerably larger than standard stems.

Thanks for your help guys!

Absolutly. I have rubber regular valves in mine right now. They will fit fine.
