Free Gas for survey.
Free full tank of gas if you're satisfied with your dealer's service. I was contacted by my local Lexus dealership customer service dept if I was satisfied with the service done on my IS (TSIB for brake pads) and I said completely satisfied and the whole nine yards. Wasn't trying to please them but I really did get a wonderful service. The lady told me that I will be receiving a survey from the corporate office and if I drop it off to them - I guess to make sure I fill it out coz I told them I was completely satisfied with the service - they will give me a free full tank of gas. I thought it was joke so I called them back and spoke with another rep and she told me it's not a joke. Can't wait for the survey to arrive. Will let you guys know when I get my free gas.

This is crap. Seriously - I am not saying you did this but in essence what they are doing is forcing their customers to lie. For a free $60 tank of gas, who wouldn't say "my service was great" even if it wasn't??

You only get the free gas if you give them a satisfactory response? Or do you get it merely by completing the survery?
If it's the former then that's a real *** move by them.

I guess there's no update in the future since most of the responses to date are negative. I'm so sorry for your bad experiences with your dealerships. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones who will get rewardedl for having a positive and wonderful experience. Did I mention TSIB - it means free. NADA. and getting rewarded.

my salesman told me that they don't get commission unless your survey has extremely satisfied on all marks.
such bs cuz they want their dealership to look good.
I think it has something to do with corporate.
they (the dealerships) seem to be fighting over each other for something . . .

I think only if you're satisfied with the service and you hand it to them. I don't think they will reward you for thrashing them down. Would you reward someone who's thrashing your product or service?
I don't like dealers as well but I go there because I have to and I always get a wonderful service and nice treatment from the staff and dealership - 56" plasma TV, leather sofa, newspaper, clean bathroom, fresh coffee ( make your own), access to free drinks - juice, water, milk,. I only go there for what my mechanic and I can't handle so basically I don't get robbed like what most of IS owners complain about . And if you know your stuff (that's why I read the threads and have a mechanic) the dealer can't BS you.

+1.... And I can sleep at night knowing I didn't have to lie to get free gas. I had a brake issue -not defective - and they offered a solution for free . How can I not be completely satisfied with that.
