I just got a new RAV4 V6 Sport 2x4 as a third car.
Didn't mean to but ended up with White/Black just
like my IS350...
Will post pictures of them side by side soon.
So far, while not as quick as the Lexus, it does feel
similar drive wise (minus the view). Anyone know off hand
if I can use the same tools and filter elements for
oil changes of both cars? I haven't done an oil change
yet.
Thanks.

I think YOU would be best to answer your own question since 99.9% of people on here probably dont have the new RAV4 in their garage.

I'm probably going to have to investigate this myself. I was hoping someone already knows, otherwise, don't bother as I can find out when the time comes
I suspect the part numbers are different since ones a Toyota and the other's a Lexus but hoping they are the same so I don't have to keep track which is which
I am spending too much time with the RAV4, the IS350 is
jealous

Did you know that the RAV4 V6 shares the same engine as the IS350??? so basically is the same engine the only difference is that the RAV4 V6 engine is tuned to less
performance:
Lexus IS350 has the GR engine 2GR-FSE-- 306 hp
Toyota V6 Rav4 has the GR engine 2GR-FE--269 hp

^ Hmm, good question. I doubt it... it has got 60 more horsepower than the IS250 but it's also probably quite heavy due to the 4WD systems.
269hp is a respectable amount though for a RAV4....
