They def aren't as nice as OEM 18" (which I want to get eventually) but they do look nice in person though. They really aren't that bad. I don't know about other colors but on Obsidian (black) they are fine.

So, if you had ordered an IS with the 18" wheel package, it'd be illegal? That's so lame.

i like them in black also. bummer that you cant have larger rims where you are at. i guess they get us in someway no matter where you live. good luck in your venture and please post pics if you do have them painted.

have you checked into cost to have them painted? and how well does it hold up. i may chooes to do this with my factory 18 and hold off on getting new rims then.

ISbb that's a no no for me... IMO, all-black wheels remind me of spare tires get another set of 17"... if you are into black wheels get ones with chrome lips (or you could colour match the lips)

Since Leuxs dosen't have the option for 18inch wheels otherwise it would be legal then... There is no way I could get a 19inch on my IS legally in Macau as far as I know... what a pitty...

if u wanna see if it will be nice or not, there's a kind of spray like the one some guys use to write on walls,it goes off with water and soap.

cause i knew a guy who had a 03 Benz he did it to his wheels and washed it after a week.

Here is what I think since I bought a set of stock 17inch for backup plan and they sitting there and doing nothing I am thinking to paint them in black (either flat black or black chome) here is some pictures...(I photoshop it)
My front rims look like that after a few days of brake dust.
