Default Double Din in place of Stock Radio

Hi, i am trying to replace my stock radio unit for a double din. I have Nav already. But i just want to have a setup with 2 screens. (This is a personal choice, no need for flamming) I wanted to do the setup myself, i searched in the forums and i could not find a diy for a double or single din. I was wondering the wire schemes or anything that i would need while installing the double din. Any piece of information will help. Thanks in advance.

Do u mean where am i placing the stock stereo unit? I am going open the stock stereo and take the motherboard out of it and just place it somewhere behind the dash.

I am placing the double din in place of the stock stereo. Check out the pics below...

Anyone have detailed info on how to get the AC/Etc. control boards out of the stock non-navi radio?

All the references I've seen aren't detailed and I'd like to know some info on it - like if you have to destroy your original stock radio to do it.

I'm thinking about just migrating the stock unit into the glove compartment.....wonder if it'll fit

I want to install a carpc in the trunk and a LCD touchscreen/DVD drive single-din unit in place of the stock unit. Routing the carpc audio to the AUX port in the center armrest.
