Default TSB in canada for the IS350?

Hi, want to know that the TSB (for the front break pad replacement), does that only applies to the States? what about Canada? have anyone got there front break pad replace b4 in canada under the TSB?

I went to the dealer, and they said that only applies to the States only, is that true?

The brake pad TSB also applies to Canada...it has a different number. It is TSB2203, titled "Alternative Front Brake Pads", issued June 2, 2006 covering 06 & 07 GS 430 and IS350. The US TSB was recently extended to cover IS250s...don't know if this has been done for Canada. Hope this helps...keep us posted.

The TSB does apply to Canadian cars. I live in Ontario and have had my pads replaced.

Nice, thanks.

I'm still debating on these... only the front pads get really abnormal amounts of brake dust and even then mine have been getting better and better the more miles I put on. Might just keep 'em.

^ RLL has an IS350 though, so we are still not sure if it applies to 250's.

I hope this applies to the 250 also. I'm getting annoyed by squeaks and dust whenever I apply the brakes.

Hey RLL, can you provide us with some information (a copy of data sheet that's given to you from lexus stating that the front brake pad is replace with no extra charge) or maybe some code for the lexus computer to be enter in?

I posted the TSB number. All you have to do is ask the service advisor to call it up on the Lexus site. How hard is that.

No I have not had my pads replaced...I will wait until the need to be replaced. PM me your fax number and I will fax you a copy of the TSB which you can take to the service advisor.
