Hey guys I am typing this I am sitting at Pohanka Lexus in Va waiting for my free car wash. I know some people are haters against the free wash but after driving 500+ miles in the past day, my car was bad and needed a wast. esp on the is350 with the brake dust. I hate have a dirty car. So I decided to check out Lexus down here. Nice place. Free Internet, Ice cream its 95 degrees out . Just pulled right in and they said give them 15 min. I love the service at Lexus.

Yeah Pohanka is known for their impeccable service. I go to lindsay lexus about 45 minutes north of Pohanka, not as good..but it's more convenient for me.

pohanka gave you a free car wash without servicing? when i call them they say they won't do it without a service. is the trick to just show up?

also, did you buy your car from them? i bought mine in silver spring so maybe they treat you different if you bought it from them.

i went to pohanka once for service and asked them if they could turn off my drls and they did. when i asked at lindsay they wouldnt do it for me. so i was pretty happy bout that =]

MY dealer takes 2 hours to wash a car.

infiniti will give you free car washes if you just show up. to my knowledge, lexus only washes your car after a service/maintainence.

My mom bought her 08' ES from Pohanka in febuary, they gave her $4k off sticker price...


At her 1k check up they gave her that free car wash, well seeing how her car is royal ruby the momment we got to the car I noticed every single scratch that wasnt there. I got the service advisor to come out to the car and we pointed out every single one, well long story short they took care of them all and even touched up the paint chips the car picked up on the road....for free I might add, and they gave her an IS250 AWD loaner while they took care of her car.

So yes we too are REPPIN POHANKA FO' SHO!! lol

I purchased my car from them. First time I went in I got some #ickhead who didn't really treat me that well so I left and came back to a different guy and he was waaay better than the first guy. Bought my car from the new guy and saw the #ickhead who was rude to me as I walked out with my new keys I looked at him and shook my head. He saw me and didn't look too happy...sucker.
$5k off of sticker price, pretty happy with that place.

i think pohanka negotiates the least out of any of the lexus dealerships in the va/dc/md area. i just got my car in december and i told them theh price i was looking at. on 3 different occasions, i had 3 different salesman tell me i can't get the IS for that price and i need to look for a differnet car. meanwhile i had quotes in that neighborhood from 2-3 other dealers (2 in MD).

yeah pohanka didn't work with me on prices so i went to MD. i tried to get stuff done at pohanka and i found them harder to work with than lindsay. I just show up at lindsay, say i need this done under warranty, no questions asked, free loaner and always a free car wash. overall, i would have to say lindsay over pohanka (in my experience)
