Default Are Rattles Inevitable?

I'm seriously thinking of swapping out my audio equipment for the navigation headunit... am I bound to get rattles in the center console?

I dropped a key through the middle cupholder (stupid I know) and just by removing the center plate (like from the nav hack thread) to grab the key, I seem to have gotten a few little sqeuaks which appear once in a while.

If I take out the whole thing to install the nav is it just going to rattle and sqeuak and slowly and painfully drive me insanse?

No rattles for me so far, but I do drive with my stereo turned up. My mirror does shake, but it isn't too bad when I turn the bass back down to normal. My mirror shook worse in my Toyota Corolla...the car I was driving before I got the IS.

what about the back dash guys? is it suppose to vibrate a lot and distort the base? Or is it just me?

I think every stock car has that problem. The cars that have subwoofers really don't do a good job isolating the vibrations and rattling. My ES has this problem. If you turn up the volume to a moderate level (volume 40+) things really start vibrating and rattling, especially that back dash which looks like nothing more than a piece of plastic with some cloth on it. This isn't really a Lexus problem as I've had this problem on just about every car I've owned.

it's extremely hard not to have rattles after a certain mileage as the car is constantly "shaking".....

the only thing is that you just can fix it the best you can when it rattles.....

my moonroof starts to have a little cracking sound.....after 3300 miles
