I was wondering if it is in anyway possible to add features to the LCD display between the Speed/Tachometers.

I find it suprising Lexus didn't put a digital MPH on the LCD display as an option, I think it woul help a lot, as well as be a nice little feature. Is this in any way possible??

Nope. Why would you want a digital speedometer next to the analog one?

Yeah I miss the old dedicated outdoor temperature readout. That's not a big deal though. Those things aren't that accurate anyway, and even if it is off so what? It's not like you don't know what the temperature is before you get to your car. I'm just not sure there's any merit to having a digital speed readout next to the big analog one. I guess the all digital dash never took off. I thought the LSes had one until about five or six years ago.

My wife's TrailBlazer has the outside temperature on the temperature control panel. It always shows external temp until you make a change to the inside temperature, then it shows the new setting for 10 seconds, then reverts back to the outside temp.

I would love to be able to see the external temp and the avg mpg at the same time like I can on her SUV.

Doesn't the climate control screen on the nav unit also show a temperature reading?

I don't think it's possible to change it.

Compared to the LS460, it's very rudimentary. The LS's LCD display has very detailed pics of the car as well as ride information...

The screen on the LS is awesome but I'd even be happy with a GS-like screen for our cars. You know how the ODO reading looks different.

i wish it could display tank mpg and range in one window. those are the only two that are significant and dynamic enough to display in real time imo.
