Default For those with 20's (merged should I get 20s or 19s threads)

Any regret going with 20's over 19's? Any cons to them? I'm debating on which size to get but can't make up my mind. i like the way 20's looks, but I also like the better protection for the rims on 19's (more tire). I'm also planning on dropping my IS350 on some Teins CS down the road so I don't want any rubbing.

Cool

No Regrets here! The look is awesome. A good Pair of 20' shoes in your car its like having a size 12 on your feet just the impresion of the girls its worth it!

Yeah. I was told the offsets would be "custom" to sit flush with the fender.

I just did an advanced search and looked at all the other topics and it seems to be pretty much 50/50 for 19's and 20's.

I would love the 20's for the overall appearance. But I think not having a big enough tire to help protect the wheels, possible problems with lowering it down the road, and slightly higher cost of replacement tires, are leading me to get the 19's.

I commute down a very windy and varying grade highway to work, so I don't want a harsh ride.

Exclamation I'm Sorry, buy I need some help

I've posted a topic on this before, but I'm extremely undecided on which size wheels to get for my IS350... 20's or 19's.

I can't make a decision. I think I got a good deal on some 19's (19x9 - 19x10) but its only a few hundred more for the 20's.

Help me decide. The roads I live in are pretty well maintained, no major pot holes.

My 350 is a Starfire Pearl with black leather. Here's a picture:

Here are some pictures of the wheels. Auto Couture Latives:

And here are two pictures I found of the same color car and wheels, not sure what size they are though, they look like 20's:

imo... for a daily driver, 20s are not the best choice b/c of obvious impractical reasons.. they looks great, but you give up ride quality and forgiveness when it comes to road conditions.. in return you get an aggressive look with added weight.. not to mention the difference in price for wheels and tires.. if you get a quality drop w/ 19s (emphasize proper fitment!) you'll still get the same effect

Okay, I'm going with 19's. I was looking into getting the Tein CS coilovers for the drop to maintain a quality ride comfort. That would give me a good enough drop, right?

Thanks guys, you have no idea how much I appreciate your feedback, .

dont be scurred... Throw some d's on it..

put the 20s on. you're going with coilovers anyways... ride height should not be an issue.
