Half the seat?

There are two fans. One for your bottom in the seat, and one for your back on the seatback.

Have you turned them on while NOT sitting on the car? You should check if the air is circulating fine without you on it...

Set your AC to only blow air from the bottom vents and you will have much better results.

LOL yea seriously... I think the dealers tell and sell people on the idea that these are actually "cooled" seats, so when people try them out they are disappointed.

Has anyone thought that maybe there is a problem with his seat? Maybe one of the fans is broken? Maybe a bad connection that keeps it from running full speed? Is that even something that can break?

seat coolers only work when you turn on your A/C and close your windows. I have not try using A/C with windows open which is a waste of your A/C anyway. When i have the A/C and seat ventilation on it feels like winter all over again.

I think some people just think they're cooled seats... you can't them blame though, I know for Mercedes at least when you get a seat that has a cooler it actually freezes your butt off. Lexus does refer to them as ventilated seats so you can't really blame Lexus either I guess.
