I drive with them on. I think the fogs help me see the people walking on the sidewalk, right or left of me. The HIDs have such a low cut off, that it barely hits their shoes and ankels.

 

You can use fog lights to hide your identity at night. Drive like crazy and irritate the driver in front of you without your fog lights on. Then after keeping cool for a bit and going in and out of traffic, put the fog lights on, and now, it's like you're in a different car when following the same guy.

 

Yes u can, If u leave fogs on and have the headlights in auto mode it by defualt puts ur fogs auto mode too. Atleast thats wat happens wtih mine, Cool thing is the fogs come before the headlights do. So at dusk , dawn or entering tunnels ur basically driving with just the fogs.

 

Drive with mine on. Makes things a little more visible and the car looks better with them on IMO.

 

I have them on when i have my headlights on....but only at night...dont drive with my headlights during the day....and i have my drls turned off...

 

I finally installed my HID kit, I hope you guys adjusted them too cause it makes a world difference. I light up at least a 1/2mile and all the signs! Next up, headlights!

 

i drive with them on, but wish i had HID instead of halogen.

I must be retarded... I've been driving my car for a year and a half and have only seen regular and brights. I don't have hids and leave the car lights in auto mode all the time, when on, there are 4 lights in the front plus the city lights. Is this considered 'fogs on'? Do the non-hid versions not have the same fog lights? Because with all 4 lights on its certainly not blinding.

 

Annd... nm, the thread had me so puzzled I went and checked my users manual. Apparently my fogs have been on since day 1, and they *do* come in during auto mode. Turning off the fog switch dropped me to just the 2 lights, and I have to say I've never seen an IS with only 2 lights turned on, lol.
