This may be a stupid question, but what's your plan for the second screen? Nav while watching DVD's?

Have nav on all the time and not having to change the music or anything of tht sort on the first screen. Really there isnt any plan. I just wanted to do it. Personally i see an advantage. You might not see the same. ;-)

One screen for nav. Other screen for music video, movies, and music.. etc. I guess thts the plan.

Cool - I was just curious as to whether you had anything wild and wacky planned, like a flux-capacitor or something...

Ya, made it out of wood. Spent 3 hours sanding it. Now all i gota do now is get it painted.

though wouldn't the shift lever and shift **** obstruct the view of the lower LCD screen?

You are one lucky guy, I would like to install any double din in to my non nav IS... But no one here would like to do it so... I am still waiting for the double din kit out so that I could do it.

your crazy man.....it was a headache just to put in my navi......just wondering how much they charged you for labor???? you should totally try to sinc up both monitors together so you can use them both at the same time......haha
