I know this is probably a shot in the dark but I was wondering if anyone happened to see an accident in Piscataway, NJ on Route 287 on the North Bound side between exits 6 and 7 around 4:30pm on Wednesday, 5/30. I was hit from behind in my '06 IS350 and the guy fled the scene but I didn't get his plate number.

I'm almost positive he was driving a black BMW, probably late 90's. It was a 4 car collision, my car was the only one that really had any damage. There was a lot of traffic on 287 at the time so I know someone must have seen this guy take off after he hit me but I know the odds of someone getting his plate are slim to none.

I don't have any pics, I have to go to the body shop to get the estimate later today.

I know there are a lot of good people on this board and I know some of you guys travel on Rt. 287 so I figured I'd take a shot. Thanks in advance for any help.....

I wasn't down there at that time, but a lot of my co-workers live down here. I will ask around. I hope everything turns out ok.

Also did you try posting on the NELOC wall a lot of local people on there.

Oh snap. Thats my hometown. I was around that area on wednesday, but didnt see anything. Good luck finding him man. Hopefully someone will step up or report the car if or when it gets repaired.

Post this up in NELOC. You might get a better response.
