Default question regarding interior of car...

i just had my windows tinted on my is250 and noticed something weird. the part inside the car where the ceiling lining meets the rear window looks like its missing something. you can see the edge of the lining like a panel or something was removed to install the tint on the inside of the back window. can anyone confirm that there is no paneling used on the inside of the car around the back window? thanks!

I'm not sure what you're trying to describe. Do you have a pic of it?

yeah i thought so also but the jagged edges lead me to believe there was something covering it.

ok if it makes you feel better, i just went and checked and yes we all have something that looks like that, some more than others....it almost looks like maybe they had to pull outward and it never really went back inplace right. but for what its worth its normal

Yup, looks pretty normal to me. I'm guessing the it looks a tad bit more fuzzy is because of preparation and it got wet a little from the soap and water. But nothing to worry about really.

Many cars have this "fade" line. You're ok.

Just ran out and checked my car. It looks the same as yours, so it is normal. Now that I know about it, I will have to live with this flaw in the back of my mind. Damn you Djgtek.

that's not a "flaw." Most cars have this. Out of the 5 cars we have a home, Hondal, VW, and Lexus, they all have this... it's just a "fade" technique.
