I don't believe so. I have not gotten my insurance company involved into this as I didnt think was necessary, but I may go ahead and do so. They sent me a check of $548 with instructions of how to get it fixed with that amount of money. Illegit is all I can say.

Just had the same type of thing happen to me but we couldn't get out of the way fast enough. Anyway it should make you feel better about your situation. The people that hit me won't call their insurance and give a statement, leaving us to wait....dealing with this type of thing is very frustrating!

It looks like the damage is minor (from pic). I would definetly pocket the money first. Buy a good liquid wax and clean the bumper. You will be amazed how much you can get off with the liquid wax but you need to buff for a long time to get rid the dirt. If the condition is not up to you satisfaction, have someone repair. As far as the rim is concerned, try clean it first as well. The pic looks like it is from the paint of her car. It may be minimum damage.
