It's a long story... But yes, I did recently move from TX to CA...
Which LA? Los Angeles or Louisiana? Anyway, I'm in Los Angeles now (Pasadena to be exact - check out the first picture...)
I've heard they should be mounted opposite the wheel's valve stem, too - although I need to double check that.
Thanks James - I actually lost more than that... The stock lug nuts + locks weigh a combined 3.5 lbs, and the ones I'm currently using wiegh 2. The Rays lug nuts I'm waiting on weigh a little over 1 lb. The spacers I was running weigh another 6. So removing the spacers saved me 6 lbs, swapping lugs will save me another 2.5, and the wheels drop another 14, for a grand total of 22.5 lbs or rotational weight!!! Oh, and I'm running Yokohama AVS ES 100's - 225/40/18 front, 255/35/18 rear, although I plan on swapping the rears to 265/35/18 soon.
