Initial miles - freeway driving

It isn't bad, but you should be varying the speeds on the freeway.
I changed between 65 ande 75 and 85 mph on the freeway every 5 minutes during the break-in period, with the exception of when a cop is on the road. And I never redlined it during the break in period.

The break in period is a bit overrated in my opinion. I've driven cars through a variety of situations during the break in period, and have always achieved good overall performance over time (gas mileage, etc.).
My IS has mostly highway miles on it, and I have 2300 miles so far. I did vary the driving conditions a bit by driving at different speeds on the highway, but that is it.
