How Old Were You When You Got Your First Lexus?
#196
I went from a 92 Camero (first car), then I had a 96 Honda (good car - low maintenance), after that a 2005 350Z (which I still own), and now at age 25 I took the plunge and bought an 2008 IS250. Between the 350Z and the IS250...my car insurance payments suck!

I think I was 29 or 30 when I got my first Lexus, '99 RX300 I think. I paid for it myself, but I was given my '95 Mustang GT conv. brand new so I'm not going to say I was never "spoiled' or anything. (although 25 is kind old to be "spoiled") I traded in the RX300 to get '01 Harley F150 and then to '02 King Ranch F150, and then to '07 Camry hybrid. I still have the Camry but just got a '07 IS350.

WOW!
It took me 25 years in the workforce to be able to own one of these superb vehicles!
Kudos to you young people - but you know there was no Lexus when I was in my 30s so I had to settle for the austere Toyotas!

Hmm......... First time driving and owning a Lexus was when I was 21. So about a couple months ago. Owned an IS250 for about 2 months then traded it in for an IS350. Both we're brand new. I owned both cars and just settled with the IS350.

Jeez. I drove a total pile of crap at age 16. And i had a good job too. I find it hard to beleive that anyone under 18 could actually work to afford a brand new Lexus, without some kind of help from their parents.
I bought my GS when i was 23. And i bought/leased my IS when i was 25.
My dad often tells me about how he didnt buy his first brand new car or own a home until he was 38. I feel very fortunately to have been able to work to afford to purchase my home, and a new Lexus. But i sure do work hard for them.
