ES's are for grannies!

Taste of lexus last year has the ES350. It's nice and comfy for the drivers want more luxury than handling/performance......for me? IS ALL THE WAY !!!

p.s. Would be perfect to get a GS for my dad and I'll drive it once in a while!

I don't know if it's just me or not but the body roll in the ES is horrible! Every time I turned, I ended up in the passenger seat!

The ES is an enthusiast's nightmare...regardless of what it has under the hood.

I had an ES350 for a week. It's a very comfortable car! But, it's still not me. I'd take it as a second car.

From what I understand, it's actually built on Toyota's Camry platform, hence certain cues in the shape of the car. No wonder it's a huge seller for the luxury segment, when the Camry has been in the #1 spot for years.

Cheers,
Old Oiler

The ES350 is a great car made by Lexus. It is what it is and it does what it does very well. What it does not do is apeal to IS owners. Seems pretty obvious to me, if it did, then you would own one

What exactly do the ES ones have that the IS doesn't? What's the difference? Honestly, I'm not too sure what they are in the first place...

Sorry for my ignorance....

IS are red and the ES are white. People like to put bright LEDs in the white ones.

For years and years, I've always been told that the ES is nothing more than a window dressed Camry. Family and friends that have owned one have told me to stay away, and buy a Lexus that is truly a Lexus.

Ever wonder why and ES350 is priced about the same as an IS250 with the same basic features? You would think that Lexus could charge more for the 3.5 liter V6 in the ES350 vs. the 2.5 liter V6 in the IS250.

My next Lexus will be an LS. I usually upgrade with each car I buy, and I will definitely be buying a Lexus again.

IS is for speeding/ES is for cruising, when im speeding up/down the pali hwy at 65+ i'm glad i bought the IS but when i'm just tooling around i wish i had a ES. Whats right and whats wrong in the IS/ES is just a matter personal preference.

No the ones on the lower part of the door that light up when the door is open.

Absolultely not!! IS 250 sucks with the weak-*** engine. I'm glad I have an IS 350, so I don't have to choose.
