Default A pillar noise

Hi,

I'm having a lot of wind noise by the drivers side A-pillar when I reach a speed of 40+. So I examined it from the outside and noticed that there is a hairline opening on the rubber stripping that is attached to the body and the windshield. It looks like it's somewhat warped or not setted properly. Is there a way to remove it so that I can reseat it?

Thanks

I was reading about wind noise yesterday. I have been bookmarking problems others have had and solved for "just in case" scenerios.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the link. Unfortunately it doesn't really apply because the passenger side doesn't make the same noise. When examining the rubber strips, on both sides, the driver side has a crack that I can see literally see the windshield through it. It's just not set properly against the frame itself.

If it isn't an easy DIY, then it looks like i'll be going to the dealership.

That is definately a fix that the dealer should cover under warranty.

No cracks!!!
