Lightbulb painting projector housing...DIY?...

has anyone painted their housing black, if so, can anyone give instructions?...

imo black housings look more aggressive. I would do it but its too much of a PITA

there is a thread one it already. bt i guess all u really do is just take out the head light bake it so it melts off the glue. paint it. reglue it n its done . ill try to find u the link to the person who has the thread on it

I did it...i just used a DIY for an EVO from evolutionm.net. The problem with the lexus is that you need to bake the headlights and fogs for almost twice as long as the evo lights because the glue is really stong. Also, for the fogs, you need to use paint that will bond to metal. If you have any specific questions let me know, because unlike the links that IS2506spd posted, I actually did mine myself without the use of any special tools.

I wonder if anyone has painted the housing black, on a WHITE/GFM IS. i think it looks hot!
