Default LMS intake and chrome door handles installed!

The parts arrived Friday and installed everything Saturday. The door handles are just overlays that go right onto the factory handle.

The LMS intake came from Carson Lexus. They shipped it with a K&N high flow air filter as well. Install was a breeze and easier than I thought. The only annoyance was having to ask my neighbor to borrow an extender for my wrench since I couldn't reach down inside the engine bay to remove the 10mm bolts to get the factory intake box out.

So far I'm loving the intake. There is no sound different whatsoever until I floor it. Then the engine growls... almost like a V8 growl if you ask me. No estimate on mileage yet, except that since I installed it and have been showing it to friends, my average MPG is 15.4. I should have some more pics soon... so far I only have some of the work in progress taken with my cell phone.

Are you worried about the HP loss or 0 net gain with the LMS or were you going for sound, etc?

Nice combo with the wheels and extra chrome.

It's turning out great.

Now, all you gotta do is get a nice polished exhaust system for a better roar and you'll be set!

1) I hate boxed factory intakes.
2) I was hoping since there is more air, I may get better MPG.
3) HP loss? How could there be loss if a company gaurantees HP gain?
4) My other car is very loud. I wanted to get away from that, and I Was worried about the IS being loud with the LMS intake. It isn't at all. You don't hear anything unless I floor it.
