call/email d2autosport. They helped alot and my wheels MRR hr-1 are the same all around and would be fine on an AWD with drop. Not very aggressive compared to 20", but fine for me. One good thing about AWD and 250s for that matter are that we don't have to deal with clearing the Brembos.
d2 has good prices and shipping was good to the mid-west.

That looks great. I'm going to have to order a set up and get them put one now the snow is finally starting to go away. I ended up going with 19"'s so it should look about the same from a gap standpoint.
thanks for the help!

You can do a staggerd set up but the diameter of the tires have to be the same. so if you want to run 20"s do 235/35/20 in the front with 275/30/20 in the rear. there is a mininal difference in diameter which will cause no bearing on your center differential. or you can run a staggerd set up with slightly stretched tires in the back and run 245/35/20 all around. the goal is to keep the tire size the same all around you want to be with in a +-3.0% in difference.
Oddly enough I have found that no tire in different sizes have exactly the same diameter, and I don't think I'm willing to take the chance to mess up the AWD system. I keep cars a long time. You've helped me to make up my mind to stay the same width all the way around. Now Its just a matter of which set of wheels....

If you run staggered.....I would highly suggest trying to stay with a consistent tire size. I'm running 19x8.5 +35 and 19x9.5 +30 with 225-35 and 235-35 and stagger the offsets. The rear has a slight stretch since I'm using Dunops which have a very wide tread face.
I would not run 275-30 in the rear when running 235-35 up front. I'd stay with a 265-30 to be safe, but even with that you run a slight risk of impacting the AWD. I've heard that even the difference in drag from the the wider tires and wider track in back can impact the AWD. This is why I opted for the 225/235 setup I have now.
