Anyone have istalled the JL clean sweep with ther nav/radio to connect to aftermaket amps. If so how does it sound and was it easy to hook up. Also Alpine is coming out with there version Alpine PXE-H650 this month. Does anyone know if this is better. I plan on installing all new Diamond Audio D9's, 2 rockford power T800.2 and T1000.1 (yes surf board amps) and 2 JL 10 W7's but need a low level clean signal. I would prefer to put a new HU but obviously everything is integrated. Any suggestions.

The problem with clean sweep is the volume control. There are 2 one master one slave. One on cleansweep and one for volume on stock HU- your choice. the problem is it allows more distortion because you are causing 2 different gain signals. This is why if anyone has the alpine system. Does this cause a problem. I have done this before on other sound systems when there are 2 volume controls to balance out. I wish apline wound have better info on this. But good luck on your clean sweep and let me know how it comes out. I would buy JL over Apline anyday

I have the 3Sixty with a 10" Punch P3 and the BD500...
The only gripe I have is that the master volume no longer controls the bass. You can turn the volume up, but the bass does not change. You have to manually change the gain on the ****......
Look into the Audiocontrol LC6i for a cheaper solution that the Alpine, RF or JL line summing units....

for those who have cleansweep. What volume control are you using. Whichever you are using as volume, close all windows and turn the volume all the way down. Do you hear any distortion, hissing, how about turning on your engine, does it get louder, rev the motor, does it whine with your engine. This is a common problem on previous setups, regardless of a good/bad ground. Any issues let me know
