keep in mind that if your original wheels and tires are in decent shape, you can probably sell them to recoup some of your costs after you buy a new wheel and tire set. Maybe another IS owner needs a replacement set or the wheels are also the right size and offset for lots of other popular cars, other Toyotas etc. The same 18" wheels that look "boring" on my IS may look super pimp on my wife's tC LOL ...

If you're looking for that style. Best you can do new, would be the JAZ Trinitys. 1 pc, staggered in 19"s with a tire package goes for around 2K.

honestly...if you guys are already going to shell out 1-2k for rims...might as well shell out another 1k for quality rims....i wouldnt buy cheap 19s, the tires are going to have barely any meat on them...once you hit a pot hole your ganna have a big dent. anything 19+ get some nice FORGED...Multi-pc's wheels with a polished lip, that way its EASY to fix if you do get a bend...

WORK, VOLK, DPE, IFORGED, HRE, there are a ton of quality rim companys that make nice forged wheels...

you guys spend around 40k on your cars, might as well save up and spend the extra cash on a nice set of rims...dont treat it like a honda. Lexus's, BMW, Benz, etc...look EXTREMELY tacky with cheap rims.

ERR not me, i spent 40k on my car so i WONT have to buy rims to make it look nicer, 18" rims are the biggest i'll get for any car i own, any bigger and i'm making my final drive ratio WORSE for 'off the line' stoplight domination. I'm keeping my STOCK Xpac rims cuz they look nice enough already.
