good luck. u dont have any trouble selling cars wit salvage titles? im not like everyone on here but i wouldn't shell out a few k for a car wit a salvage title. very hard to get rid of down the road. but on the other hand i know a guy who bought a viper with 5k on it for $14,000

I think he said that a crane fell on it during transport, and that the damage was all sheetmetal...... maybe i am wrong.

I'd love to have the cash and the mechanical ability to buy cars like that and repair/restore them. Maybe one day!

some salvage cars can be excellent deals --- back in 2003 I bought a salvage titled 2000 Honda Civic EX coupe that had already been repaired from a front end hit, I took it to my mechanic and put it up on a lift for inspection before I bought it.

-- bought the car for $7500 and sold it 3 years and 35000 miles later for the exact same price. Only had a window regulator problem which wasn't related.

Default Update....found broken drive shaft...expected

Finally had time to work on the car today....took apart the suspension...found a broken drive shaft...will put in new crossmember sunday...if time permits....entertaining girls comes first..LOL
