I say do what your heart desires. It's your ride. But I would suggest not overdoing it. And if your ride is still stock, you may want to wait until you get new shoes and maybe a drop.

I have always thought under body light kits where cool, but never while driving, just when youre hanging out with a group of cars in a parking lot or something. I never really liked the LEDs though... The light distribution is too broken up and not really bright enough. I liked the old school florescent tubing kind that hide up under your side skirts and bumpers. IMO that made a cooler looking blue. I dont think I would do this to my IS though unless I had decided initially to go all out rice and fix it up like it was a civic from the start.

Hey, rice is a style also and sometimes I think it is hard to make a ture rice car.
If you do underglow properly as the way you have said, it should be alright. Do not get bother with what other think.

i would have to agree, it is your car and only your opinion counts when it comes down to it.
if done tastefully and correctly, it shouldnt look too bad i would think. Good luck and keep us updated.

i say the puddle lights look cool... the underglow is not that cool, but would be if your just in a parking lot like you said..theres guy around here that dont mount them right.. to the point where you see the whole tube ducktaped to the car. what i mean is, you dont see the light on the road, you see the light on the tube. it looks ridiculous
