"Just watering my grass" MY A$$!!!!!
Okay, so I just washed and waxed my car last night.
Today, I parked my car behind my work where I always park. During my break (2pm), I went to my car to grab a couple of things out of my car and found this fat middle aged guy just spraying water on my car with his garden hose. I quickly ran over to him and asked him WHY he was hosing my car down with water. He said, "i'm just watering my grass." I couldn't believe it! I got so furious...I told him no one waters their grass at 2pm when it's 95 degrees outside especially with the hose end tilted up...total F-ING BS. Then he tells me not to park my car in front of his house because that's his parking spot...yeah, whatever buddy..that's city property. He could have wrote a note and stuck it on my windshield and I wouldn't park their again because I don't want my Lexus to be messed with. So, now I have a BUNCH of water spots ALL OVER my paint and windows. Looks like i'm going to wash her again tonight. Some people are total a-holes.

seriously, you shouldn't have parked in front of other ppl's house. As you said, that is city property, and 'accidents' do happen. If you parked in front of your house, and things happen, you can bi-ch all you want cuz no one will water your lawn.

I remember when I washed and waxed my Accord and parked it the next day at work. When I came out I saw a bunch of laborers tossing their dirt into a pile NEXT to my car. My whole front driver side was littered with dirt. *****ing *******s I swear, they SAW me park it, and walk inside too, least they could have done was walk in and told me to move the car because they were going to work next to it. I've learned my lesson though, avoid the idiots because they're not going to accommodate to you.

Err... i dont know what 'rock salt' means to you but to me it means 'load your own shot', i dont think shooting someone with rock salt is a very smart thing, he could pull out something NOT loaded with rock salt and shoot you, guess what, if you dont die you'll goto jail and he'll get off...
So... whats this, 'nuff said'?

it's the only reasonable course of action...
obviously this guys actions were totally unfounded - I'm sure the OP didn't set out to intentionally park in front of this guys house and **** him off... If I need to park close to somewhere, and in front of this guys house is the closest, best spot, damn straight I'm gonna park there...
As the OP stated, a simple note would have sufficed... would YOU water someone elses car if they parked in front of your house once?
Now, for the reasoning of the eggs...
Clearly this guy has no concept of how meticulous us car guys can be when we spend hours washing cars (or tons of money keeping cars clean), so watering his car probably won't matter to him, as he only goes through the automatic car wash when he can no longer see out the front window...
I bet he cares about his house though, right? houses don't really get dirty with just water, so, eggs are the preferred ammunition - it'll be the same work for the guy as it was for the OP to re-wash his car, so, sounds fair to me...
I might add... anyone that wastes water trying to water their car in 95 degree temps and the middle of the day deserves to be shot anyways...

If the guy's parking spot in front of his house is so precious, he should keep his ***********g car in it, so people don't park there. The "public" street is just that. At least here in Philly, those a******s put a chair in the street to try and deter you from parking there (especially in the winter, after they dug the car out).
Of course, you should also be glad that all he did was spray water on your car, and not key it.
