don't bother bringing empty suitcases there. just buy em there. should be cheap enough. and if i remember correctly, hong kong is a duty free port. so no duty on all the goodies u bring back... i think?
no sales tax there....but custom might charge tax coming back to the US....
or u can just get those "red, white, blue" bags hahah
if u know what im talking about.
hahah my mom brought one of those back from hk stuffed to the top with junk. it someone was dropped in the airport and that shiet busted open and junk everywhere! i was so embarassed...
HK is great, but def dont use those "bags" nothing else screams open me to the customs people like 2 or 3 of those bags stacked on top of your luggage. Ive been to HK several times, and the two time i used the "bags" i got a friendly invite from customs to open up my luggage so they could politely dump all of my goods out on the floor. Enjoy out there... it will be hot.
Note to everyone that i will not charge anymore than retail price. No handling fee whatsoever. I'm leaving on Tuesday so PM me what you want or what you want me to find.THanks
i have noticed by reading this thread most of entries are people that are familiar with Hong Kong, and some its their home town. Are most IS drivers Japanese? In which i must say i have no problem with and not racist by any means, i was just wondering?
