No, O/E kit is not labor intensive. Maybe your salesman/serviceman make it sounds hard. Try local shops.

I mean to install it yourself, at home, looks like alot of work because the bumper skins have to come off.

Did anyone have a shop install it how much did it cost?

Front and sides are a breeze.

Rears are a PITA. Inorder for perfect fitment, i suggest cutting no corners for the rear.

For the fronts, you can, but not for the rears due to the exhaust cut out size.

Thanks what do you mean cut corner in the front?

I read the directions, especially for the rear .. I am afraid I will break some fasterners or can't put the bumper skin back perfectly or something

I live in Alameda county but not far from I-5. I searched "kit install" cannot really find anything too relevant?

From what I have seen everything but the rear bumper is easy. The rear on the other hand needs a little more time, but not too bad.

TAMR_GUS98 thanks for the informative link, do you think the side skirts are worth it because they run about same cost as the the rear or front air dam.
IMO not that much of a difference.

Front Lip via "Cut Corner" method. I installed mine the same way. Fits great. Drilling is extremely not necessary.

http://www.infoarena.com/lexus/airdaminstall/

Sides are easy. Just 2 philips, 2 10MM, and about 6 clips on each side. Very easy.

Rears require cutting due to the new exhaust cut outs from the Rear Kit.

You cannot achieve 100% fitment by installing ur new exhasut cut outs over existing exhaust cut outs. To me, it doesn't fit perfect but good.

I know of a shop in Santa Clara, CA that can install the rear. Expect high labor rates tho. Try the Lexus Dealer?

Hey thanks for checking out. I looked at various pictures of the kit and decided not to get the rear clip because it add one more seam to the rear bumper.
and the $300 for the side skirts that are slightly different was too much.
These are strictly my opinion!

The front air dam I was going to get the clear bra tagged on additional expense so I didn't get it for now.

But I did get the spoiler though
