I was quoted 1K over invoice. I have just never heard of anyone adding this on top of invoice. And yes they would not give me a final number until the car was on its way. Being a special order, I can complain but they know I am not going to walk. I'll just pull my pants back up and say thank you

Special order or not...
Everyone ends up paying these fees.
Its factored into the Dealer Invoice for the IS350's and all other New Lexus and Toyota cars.. (other brands too)

IS250's have same fees as well, but thats a whole other ball game....
I heard they are selling below dealer invoice right now...

They are not adding on top of invoice... Its what Lexus charges them for the cost of doing business.. Its factored into the dealer invoice.

Man I was right on the money... I had originally put that you were getting $3,500 off of MSRP, but I changed it to approx $3,000 because I didn't all your final options..

Joe Z....this was exactly my point in the thread about the price DropTopGal got. It's very hard to make the numbers add up without the details, hopefully in a common format. In my experiences, most dealerships try VERY hard not to give you that. It's the age old mushroom theory. BTW, thanks for all the good pricing information you've been posting.

Since you guys seem to have trouble grasping what JoeZ is posting about true Lexus invoice (apparently it's calculated a little different then what we're accustomed), don't worry about what you're paying over invoice (since you don't even know what "invoice" is..), and worry more about how much you're getting off sticker..

Just like unit74 stated that's a great deal.

I purchased mine back in March of 2006 from Carlsbad... and managed to get 1K off sticker. That was when the cars didn't sit on the lot for more than a few days.

Lets put it this way. Guaranteed someone's going to get a better deal than what you negotiated. That's just how it goes...Just enjoy the ride knowing you received a great price.

I almost bought from carlsbad but they wouldnt come close to what Glendale was offering. Carlsbad is on this "trip" that in CA the 350's are soooo hard to find and the salesman even told me " we dont discount because these cars are very popular, if you dont but it someone else will" so i made the extra hour and a half drive to Glendale and saved 8,000!
