bumping an older thread..

I park in my garage at home.. and at work i park all the way in back of the parking lot.. it's funny theres empty spaces in the back and the cars that are parked there (near mine) are a BMW 335I, a 330I, a 6 series , and a range rover.. such a nice collection of cars in one spot =P but when i walk up the parking lot and see a brand new M6 sitting inbetween 2 cars i go .. he/she should park by us too!

Always in garage in my building at home and work...

Whenever I go out to shopping malls or stores, I park as close as possible to the shopping cart corrals...

Always in my garage at home, in the driveway at my girlfriend's place, own parking spot at the office and as far away from other cars in public parking lots.

I'm the exact same as most of you guys. I park in a garage at home/work, and try to park as FAR away from everyone else as possible when at all other locations. Sometimes you can be too careful as you do more harm than good when trying to avoid others. I was trying to avoid people in a Movie Theater parking lot the other weekend and parked way too close to a curb. Everything was fine, except for when I was leaving I totally forgot how close I was and rubbed my wheels a little. Nothing major at all, just a little reminder that while I was trying to avoid other people, I unintentionally put myself in a situation where my car got damaged anyway. I feel that it's much easier to cope with self-inflicted damage as opposed to someone else's doing, though. A little wet sandpaper/touch-up paint on the wheels and I'm good to go. Can't even see it unless you are really looking for it. At least it's not a door ding!

Honestly if I didn't have a garage I wouldn't of buy a car in this category until I could afford a garage. I like to keep it in mint condition. But that's just me.

lol, I'm actually only sort-of kidding...

I park all of my cars wherever I find a space... If it's next to a shopping cart corral, I don't care... Here's a pic of my car the day I got it from the dealer... I stopped by Lowes to buy a toggle switch for the nav hack...

I park next to my brothers tsx in my driveway at home and usually the first spot by my job which is in the middle of both entrances but has a curb on one side and a cart corral on the other side about 1 and a half spots downhill guaranteeing no dents. I also check for carts on an hourly basis.
