Where do you park you IS??????

1-car garage at my apartment (with padding on the walls to prevent the gf and others from smacking the doors against the wall). In a parking garage at work, usually next to a G35 coupe or another IS if the spaces are available.
As far away from other cars, shopping carts and other potential paint damaging objects as possible!

I have my own Garange so I park my IS along with my Dad SLK200, wife's Subaru R2 (K-Car) and our people mover Toyota Previa! So don't have to worry about park next to some stupid drivers...haha

I use to park as far away from anything... but after a year... I am tired to do that everyday... so I cross my fingers everytime I park and check back and forward everytime before I drive off...

hahaa it really depends on how much room i have and the cars around me. If the parking space is large enough to support the opening of a door completely, then i just park anywhere if a curb is not available. If a curb is available, I try to park as close to the curb as possible. 15000 miles and no door dings yet!

Garage at home, everywhere else I park only with one side near a car (curb, divider, shopping cart holder, pile of bricks, whatever, on the other side) and as far away from where I am going as I can.
If I can't find something to park next to I will drive to the end of the lot and hope that the assclowns in their trucks and suv's avoid my car.

If you live in NYC be prepared to pay $3-700/month for private parking. If you park on the street, YOU'RE SCREWED. I've lived in manhattan, queens, brooklyn, and the bronx, there is just no way you can find decent reliable parking on the street. Be prepared to have your front and rear bumpers mashed in within a week if you park on the street.
