OH that suxor, then you can see the split.
Nice car btw
Tip when taking pics, always have the sun at your back that way no dark shadows UNLESS your going for 'effect' or someother artsy fartsy kinda thingy. Mid day is good too so no long shadows from other objects or angle the car towards the sun. Yea i know you just wanted to post, np.

Is there some way Canadian IS250 owners can harrass corporate that we are not getting the same options for the same car package as our US bretheren? I mean I am going to be getting the dealer to put on the sport pedals, but getting a complimentary Front air dam would be nice! Thoughts anyone?

In canada, X-package can come with any color. But unlike in the US, we cannot order add-on options with our packages like HID, Luxuary, or accessory packages... WE have to either get the x-package ($1950-$5000) OR Luxury ($5000) OR Sports Pkg ($9000). All the good stuff like HID, AFS, etc only comes in the $9000 sports pkg.
Already the IS250 MSRP of $36,000 is almost enough to buy an IS350 (US$35000) in the US given the current $0.93 x-chg rates...
The x-1 ($1950) comes with sports sus, 18" 5-spoke wheels/tires, illuminiated scuff plates.... the X-2 ($5000) adds leather and sunroof + pwr seats (but no memrory or heat as those are only available with the Lux or Sport pkg)
When I bought my IS250 in Jan 2007, I was reading the newly printed 2007 IS brochure, and it listed the goods. One thing that was mistakenly printed was the aluminum sports pedals. I bought the x-2 pkg and didn't see the aluminum pedal and freaked out. The sales guy told me it was a printing error but he told me to write him a letter of complaint and he'll file it with Lexus corporate. A week later he got approval from Corporate to give me the pedals ($140) for free and it was installed during my first inspection. oh, and i got some free OEM winter mats too while i was at it... I guess if you work with your saleman to file a complaint (instead of making it look like it's HIS fault), he'll work with you to get free stuff, as long as it's coming out of Corporate and not the dealer's pocket.

I'm in the same situation right now. The manager is addressing this issue to the Corporate about it. I better get my padels or I am writing a complaint to the head office.

Nice. It also helps when the salesman is nice to begin with so you're willing to work with him/her too cuz you dont want them to get in trouble. Works both ways, i scratch your back and you scratch mine
