That is a good point. I was *supposed* to have an appointment. Basically I talked to the finance manager couple of days ago and she told me I could drop off my car today anytime at the service department. But when I reached service department they did not have any appointment for me. They did say they were very busy for last few days since they are running some promotions in detailing. Oh well, you are right. It is a car and will take me from A to B.

Ok I am not going to complain then !! Azera is actually not that bad. Even with 14k miles on it it is fairly smooth. Other choices were Taurus or Taurus. :-)

all three at santa monica lexus.

they do have a 3gs loaner; twice i've requested it, twice i ended up in an rx.

i call at least a week ahead to schedule service and request a loaner vehicle. getting to the service dept. early in the day helps too, in the event the dealership runs out of loaner vehicles.

When I went to get my brake tsib done, they loaned me a RX. Not sure which one, but it didn't really have anything.

I was told no loaners cars were available, even though there were 10 or so parked there. I asked some random service guy who didnt know why I was there if they were reserved and he said no.

ES350, last time there was a 6MT IS250 and I requested it. Stupid guy tells me, you don't want to drive another IS. I tell him, yes i do. But he doesn't give it to me anyways!
