Try driving with your sunglasses on at night and see how you like the visibility before you waste your money on the tint, ticket, and potential life-changing accident.
I've been almost hit on several occasions by cars with dark tints on their side and rear windows - they can't see **** even if they shoulder check because the tint blocks out most of the headlights which otherwise would have indicated to the driver that i was there.

Like some others have suggested, it’s more than chancing getting tickets. It’s a matter of safety, especially at night. You owe it to yourself and other drivers/pedestrians to be as conscientious as possible on the road.
Be content with your underglow; it may look silly, but it’s not dangerous.

what tint do you have on your other windows, I'd say it do it 50% with 35% front and what ever you want in the back. If you get a ticket, it would most likely be for front windows, but here its only a 10 dollar fix it ticket or pay 100 and you don't have to fix it.
as far as seeing at night, I only have a problem if it is darker than 15,

I had my front windshield tinted on my Tercel for about 1 year. I got pulled over by FHP on 836 right by Miami International Airport and the trooper made me peel it ALL off in from of him or get a ticket. I had to drive with the glue residue on the complete windshield until I got home (20 miles) to use a razor blade to take the glue off. I don't have any part of windshield tinted in my IS350. I learned my lesson.

I have 40% in the front windshield and 35% in everything else and i see perfect at night. Its your Car do what you like, having in mind if it worth the ticket or not!
ps. the temp diference its noticeble! all my cars have tint all around and in PR its illegal too having the front windshield tinted.

I just went to the main Lexus site, and there is no mention at all about the glass being UV blocking. Anyone else notice this?
