Default SMT Led Parking Lights

Has anyone tried this lights to replace the parking lights with this kind of bulb?

I would think it would work really well since most of the light is being projected laterally.

Wait... by parking lights do you mean city lights? I think you do, and no, not that I have seen... But those might be worth a try!

Yea but I kinda like how the ones hes referring to will fill up the circular housing area of the city lights more with white light than even the 5 led refractors will. The only thing I wont like is how blueish are this "white" leds. i really like how my MTEC white bulbs (non LEDs) actually match the rest of my lighting. Most LEDs are way too blueish or too white to match HIDs. That and will these actually FIT in the city lights hole and housing... They might not as they look too wide... These are the ones hes talking about:

I had those in my city lights for about 4 days and it wasn't cuttin' it. So bought the refractor ones instead and replaced my reverse lights with those. IMO the refractors look better because it fills up a good bit of the housing.

Yea i seen that SMT 25's on my never ending search for DRL's. I am seriously thinking of replacing my PIAA parking/city lites since they just shine straight. Was thinking of Vleds 5 thingy but some ppl have been talking about 'blinking' lately... i would very much be interested in seeing the 25's in action.

Guys I really dont this they will even fit through the mounting hole that the light has to pass through... That bulb looks considerably wider than the normal sized 194/168 bulbs!

And the 5-led refractors dont? look at the back of the 25's and then the main body it doesnt look that much bigger, looks thinner than the 5-led ones, course... lets just wait for someone else to try it out first

I just took out the stock bulb and did some measuring. The socket that the bulb plugs in is just over 12.5 mm wide. The stock bulb is 23.3mm long, but there looks to be plenty of room for a much longer bulb to fit. I think it'll fit. Since no one else had tried these I guess I'll have to give it a go.
