It's kind of like finding the engagement point for the clutch on a manual transmission in that you can't really "tell" someone how much to let up - you have to do it yourself and find the right amount. I will say that, when I've done burnouts and completely let the brake go after I felt the rears give way, I still got a decent skid. It all depends how long you want to go (and how much rubber you want to waste).

Well put. Like he said you Just have to feather the brake out gradually and if your momentum is right then u will just keep spinning. I did this so many times 3 sets of tires in 11k miles HAHha they are addicting so dont get usto them.

stand still burnouts in an is350 is simple.. ive done more than 20 and counting and my tires still have plenty of thread. (try to keep it spinning for less than 20 seconds at a time).

for the 06' (dont know about the 07')...

1. press the vdim button so the tire slip icon displays on ur dash.
2. switch the gear box into sports shift and down shift it to 1.
3. push down on your brake w/ ur left foot and slam the gas with ur right.
if your car starts moving forward just press a little harder on ur brake until the car stops. once you hit redline... rev ur gas to keep it near redline. (both tires spin) if you want your car to slide back and forth... turn your wheel and let off the brake slightly.
4. to end the stand still burnout.. just release the gas and keep the brake down. if you want to leave a skidmark... keep the gas down and release the brake.

Is there a way to remove the rear brakes fuse, so when brakes are applied, there is no rear brake force at all?
