Talking picked up my IS250 yesterday w/o a spoiler

stupid dealer ordered the wrong color(obsidian) instead of the black sapphire. now i have to wait 2 weeks and drive 75 miles one way there and wait 3hrs for the installation...

Ask them for some discount. I had similar experience before and I did save some bucks. I guess they forgot to order it for you and just gave you a story. It won't hurt to ask for discount.

agree! at least ask them for the full tank of gas going back to get it installed!

it's been over 2 weeks and still no spoiler? think the dealer is BSing me? does it take that long to order the rear spoiler?

That's ridiculous; I ordered my rear spoiler online (through Sewell) for $120 (I think) ... and had it installed at Lexus of Silver Spring (they have a body shop there) ... they did it for $118. They were great ...

Wow, that is a long time. You could have gotten an aftermarket one by now, or at least ordered the stock one somewhere else!

$120 for the oem spoiler is a very good price though.

yeah.. if he actually paid $120 but he said hes not sure. I don't remember Sewell offering the spoiler for 120.. No way you can get a brand new OEM one for that price.

He's not that far off. They (lexus-parts.com) were selling them during their June sale for $180.

dealer just called....i have an apt this friday to get the spoiler install and get the all weather mat.

do all dealers give free carwash? and other freebies?
